Payroll

Paid on time. Filed on time. Every cycle, without a reminder.

Payroll is the one area where being late is not just expensive, it is personal. Directors can be held personally liable for unremitted deductions. We treat it accordingly.

Included in your fixed monthly fee. If something falls outside it, we tell you before the work starts, not after.

Superannuation and pensions

Payday super under the rules that took effect 1 July 2026, plus retirement plan and pension remittances in the US and Canada.

Contractor payments

1099-NEC, T5018 and taxable payments annual reporting, with worker classification reviewed before it becomes a problem.

Worth knowing

Payday super changed everything in Australia

From 1 July 2026 employers must pay super guarantee at the same time as wages, with contributions reaching each employee's fund within seven business days of payday. The old quarterly cycle no longer applies. If your payroll process still batches super quarterly, it needs rebuilding now. We migrate Australian payrolls onto a compliant payday cycle as part of onboarding.

Talk it through on a call

Twenty minutes, no cost, and a written scope within one business day.

By jurisdiction

The rules differ. Open your desk.

Same service, three rulebooks. Each country page lists the specific forms, cycles and statutory dates that apply.

Questions

Common questions.

Anything not covered here, ask on the call. There is no charge for questions.

Which payroll platforms do you run?
Gusto, ADP and QuickBooks Payroll in the US; Wagepoint, Payment Evolution and QuickBooks in Canada; Xero, MYOB and Employment Hero in Australia.
Can you take over an existing payroll mid-year?
Yes. We reconcile year-to-date figures before the first run so year-end documents balance correctly, which is the step most mid-year transitions get wrong.
What happens if a remittance is missed?
It does not get missed. Remittances sit on the same monitored calendar as filings, with internal dates ahead of statutory ones. If an error is ever ours, we fix it and cover the penalty.
